Last days in Seattle - Moving on!

Well, It’s a fresh new week!

I’ve now moved from Seattle to Vancouver. Yes indeed; enjoying life in southern Washington once again! However, not all is done yet. Hopefully, the move to my new permanent location will go well after returning from ACEN 2006 and E3.

What did I do for my final week in Seattle? I decided to walk around and enjoy life in the emerald city one last time. Here are some memories that I uploaded to my flikr page.

Gameworks and it’s Sticky pads!  (2 were actually sticking at one point)  I actually got told that I couldn’t “freestyle” or do any handstands ever again. Oh well…It’s appearantly for “my protection”. (hehehe)

Thank you to being a big part of my life for the past 5 years Seattle. I’ll certainly be back sometime soon.

Those are actually really good cosplay costumes.

Gameworks seems to always have at least ONE THING wrong with the DDR pads! The one near me (in Florida) has four DDR machines and one has sticky pads, one has screwed up sound, and one has a dull-lit screen. >:|

Bah! You'd think that they'd keep them in good shape. Especially because they charge so much to play them eh? :)

All the machines are just old these days. No one bothers to clean, fix, or buy new pads. Just let the players suffer on the shit ones they've got.

Speaking of pads, hope you enjoy your new one!

Old machines? whawhawhat?! Believe it or not, there are still a few good operators/techs out there. They do *sometimes* care about their machines. hehehe

Man I wish we had a couple of those down here. The DDREX machine is pretty filthy. One shouldn't have to stomp on a pad for it to register. At least they clean the ITG2 pads.
